August remains very warm, with temperatures around 30-40°C across most of Oman. In Salalah, however, Khareef season is in full swing, with lush greenery and misty hillsides that attract visitors looking for a break from the summer heat. The Khareef Festival celebrates local culture with food, music, and crafts.
